Key Elements
- Installation of 52m cable stayed bridge over the River Dodder including piled foundations and 22m steel bridge over the Ballycullen Stream
- Working in a PNA and liaising with Inland Fisheries and the National Parks and Wildlife Services to carry out the works
- Full installation of decorative public lighting and CCTV system along the route including all chambers, ducting, cabling and fittings
- Construction of gabion structure to facilitate the construction of the bridge foundations
- Construction of temporary crane pad and haul road on poor ground to facilitate the 750t crane required to install the bridges
- Full bituminous construction of the new surface
- Significant landscaping and planting in the park on completion of construction works
