This project consists of the construction of a new port access road from the R132 Dublin Road across the Twenties Road and along to tie in to the Ballymakenny road and upgrading of the adjacent roads
Key Elements
- Design and implementation of complex traffic management to accommodate vehicular, pedestrian and cyclist traffic of the upgraded sections
- Earthworks and drainage construction for the new section of road and the upgrade of the existing drainage network on the existing roadway
- Installation of utilities such as foul, water, comms and power
- Full road construction including all pavement layers
- Construction of new footpaths and cycleways
- Construction of 2 no. new roundabouts
- Installation of culverts and associated works
- Accommodation works for affected landowners
- Installation of public lighting and traffic signals
