The project is being undertaken to improve the cycle and pedestrian facilities along the N81 between the Fortunestown and Killinarden Junctions
Key Elements
- Design and implementation of pedestrian and traffic management during construction
- Road and Junction construction works including drainage, pavement, roadmarking and signage
- Installation of new public lighting including all ducting, lamps and connection works
- Construction of new footpaths and off road cycle tracks
- Improvements to existing bus stop facilities including moving them off road
- Extensive landscaping works including tree and shrub planting to a 3 hectare green area
