The project consists of the eradication of invasive alien plant species at a number of sites along in the N11, N25, N30 and N80 within County Wexford over a 5 year period
Key Elements
- Traffic and pedestrian management design and implementation to allow the eradication and survey works to be undertaken
- Establishment of a baseline survey for each location using GPS survey equipment
- Annual Inspection of each site by a trained ecologist who in conjunction with a Pesticide Advisor developed a suitable treatment plan for each location
- Annual GPS survey carried out to track the rate of eradication of the plant
- Yearly eradication programme undertaken by our team of Registered Pesticide Users
