This project involves the detailed restoration of an old Gamekeeper's cottage
Key Elements
- Site Clearance works to remove vegetation and debris from the cottage
- Reconstruction of sections of damaged walls using the same materials and style as the existing
- Windows repaired where possible and replaced with new windows constructed in the same manner as the existing
- Removal of the existing roof slates and were reused to reslate the roof supplemented with slates of the same material where necessary
- Roof construction used old timbers where possible with new timbers used where necessary
- Full electrical and plumbing fit out, carried out in a sympathetic manner
- All internal finishes such as bathroom and kitchen installed fitting to the age of the property
