Key Elements

  • Site clearance works to remove the existing gabion structure and other vegetation
  • Design and construction of a reinforced concrete temporary retaining wall to facilitate the construction works
  • Design and construction of a suspended slab to construct the foundation of the retaining wall
  • Construction of the new gabion wall to form the new embankment along the River Liffey
  • Monitoring of the existing dwelling located adjacent to this embankment
  • Installation of a reinforced soil structure to form the embankment
  • Construction of accommodation works for the dwelling to include hardlandscaping around the dwelling (footpaths, drainage, driveway), fencing and landscaping works
