Widening and reconstruction of Burton Hall Road and the construction of a link road to the Leopardstown Dual carriageway.

Key Elements

  • Design and installation of vehicular, cyclist and pedestrian traffic management in an urban dual carriageway environment, working alongside the LUAS and liaising with the RPA, Local Authority and Gardaí to manage large traffic volumes
  • Full pavement construction and overlays including milling, regulation and resurfacing to new design levels and tie-ins to the existing roads
  • Installation of public lighting including cabling, chambers, ducting and fittings
  • Construction of a new signalised junction on the Dual Carriageway including the provision of ducting, chambers, poles and signal heads/Alterations to existing traffic signals to allow new phasing and realignment of the junction
  • Installation of new services including foul sewer, watermain, electricity, Eir, gas and various communications ducting/Liaison and coordination with all utility providers
  • Construction of new footpaths, kerbing and on-road cyclist facilities
  • Construction of reinforced concrete retaining walls at restricted land takes and boundary perimeters
