These two contracts involve routine maintenance to traffic calming installations on National Routes and Emergency works to elements of the Traffic Calming installation as required.
Key Elements
- Routine maintenance of assets, including cleaning and minor repairs to gateway signs, illuminated and non illuminated bollards, directional signs and road sweeping
- Repainting of kerbs and maintenance of the traffic calming islands
- Lamp and lantern replacements and repairs to ducting and wiring on street lighting and illuminated bollards where required
- Installation of new ducting and repairs to existing ducting where required in order to maintain island lighting
- Repair to paving, footpaths, islands and kerbing
- Replacement of street furniture such as guardrails and fencing are also carried out as part of the works
