This project was undertaken to install new foul and surface water sewers on Brighton Road and Kerrymount Avenue
Key Elements
- Installation of a new foul sewer on Brighton Road to upgrade existing facilities to allow for a new residential development
- Installation of a new surface water sewer on Kerrymount Avenue to upgrade existing facilities and allow for a new residential development
- Reinstatement of the road surface on completion of the installation works, this included the full resurfacing of the junction at the Kerrymount Avenue tie in
- All testing and commissioning carried out as part of the works
- Installation of all manholes and rodding eyes as part of the works
- Protection and raising and lower of existing services during construction
- Traffic management provided for the works, this includes liaising with Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council to arrange Road Opening licencs, T2 licence and full road closures to facilitate the works
- Liaising with the Local Authority Water Services Department and Roads Department in order to agree works
- Liaising with Irish Water for the foul sewer works
