A number of projects were undertaken within the UCD Campus as part of their continued development plan including the construction of a new carpark, new access roads and service installation
Key Elements
- ESB diversion works to facilitate new developments within the campus requiring 1.2km of new ESB ducting
- Watermain installation works to upgrade the existing supplies including all associated chambers and valves and commissioning of same
- Installation of new communications ducting for internal purposes and new Eir ducting within the campus
- Reinstatement works in carriageways, green areas and footpaths throughout the campus
- Construction of a new 87m long temporary access road to facilitate building development works
- Works included service diversion works such as moving public lighting ducting and columns and diverting CCTV ducting
- Installation of new drainage network for this section of roadway and tying into the existing system
- Full pavement construction of the new road and all associated line marking and road signage including a mini roundabout at the tie in to the existing road
- Construction of a new 100 space carpark
- Works included full pavement construction and new drainage network for the carpark to tie into the existing
- Installation of CCTV ducting and public lighting ducting and sockets
- Landscaping works including paving and installation of new trees and grass areas
