This project was undertaken to install a new watermain and power supply for a new data centre
Key Elements
- Design and implementation of pedestrian and traffic management on the public road to allow installation of the new power ducting
- Design and installation of pedestrian and traffic management within the business park to install the new watermain
- Liaising with South Dublin County Council to obtain a road opening licence and associated T2 licences
- Installation of power ducting along the public road requiring reinstatement of green areas, concrete footpaths and crossing under an existing stream
- Liaising with the ESB to agree the installation of the ducting, construction of the new substation and mini pillars
- Construction of new watermain chambers constructed in situ along the existing watermain line
- Installation of new watermain and all associated valves, hydrants and chambers
- Liaising with the ESB to agree the installation of the new power ducting and working in the vicinity of transmission lines
