This hardlandscaping package included all external works including access roads taken in charge by Fingal County Council
Key Elements
- Traffic and pedestrian management design and implementation to manage the works while the site was live and other construction works were ongoing
- Working as part of a team to ensure this large project was completed on time
- Extensive temporary works to facilitate those working on site and access arrangement for the other contractors on site during the construction phases
- Construction of a raised feature roundabout with limestone masonry wall, granite setts paving and resin bonded gravel paving with central rock boulder with custom sign
- Construction of new site entrance with curved limestone masonry perimeter wall and corporate signage
- Upgrading of the existing 650m entrance road to accommodate the new roundabouts, including installation of new islands, public lighting, drainage and linemarking
- Construction of external footpaths and cycletrack to Fingal County Council standards
- Construction of internal footpaths of white resin and granite paved internal plaza areas
- Construction of internal roadways and car parking for over 600 cars
- Installation of new service ducting for various services such as communications and power
- Installation of new perimeter fire roads of grasscrete
- Landscaping works to create 270000m3 of berms and 275000m2 grass areas
- Installation of extensive street furniture such as benches, bike shelters outdoor lunch tables and bespoke lighting
- Installation of security fencing
