Upgrading of 6.1km of track bed and the construction of a new railway station.
Key Elements
- Construction of a precast concrete 52m two span bridge spanning the railway lines between platforms including support structures
- Full construction including M&E and fit-out of train station on precast bridge spanning the railway lines
- Construction of 2 No. underbridges over live non tidal water courses in consultation with Inland Fisheries
- Installation of a number of box culverts of varying sizes
- Installation of extensive drainage up to 1.8m in diameter
- Design and erection of all temporary works for bridge erection
- Piling adjacent to the live railway line
