Construction of a new 2.5km section of carriageway from Citywest to Belgard.
Key Elements
- Design and installation of vehicular, cyclist and pedestrian traffic management to maintain traffic volumes for the works and at tie-ins to two major existing roads
- Installation of large diameter surface water gravity sewers in both greenfield and existing carriageways to link to existing services
- Installation of large diameter watermains in ductile iron and concrete and all associated chambers and fittings
- Construction of culverts and headwalls including liaison with Inland Fisherie
- Full carriageway construction including earthworks and all pavement layers
- Construction of footpaths, kerbing and cycle facilities, both on and off-road
- Installation of new traffic signals including poles, cabling, ducting and chambers
- Installation of new road signage
