These two contracts involve routine maintenance to traffic calming installations on National Routes and Emergency works to elements of the Traffic Calming installation as required.

Key Elements

  • Routine maintenance of assets, including cleaning and minor repairs to gateway signs, illuminated and non illuminated bollards, directional signs and road sweeping
  • Repainting of kerbs and maintenance of the traffic calming islands
  • Lamp and lantern replacements and repairs to ducting and wiring on street lighting and illuminated bollards where required
  • Installation of new ducting and repairs to existing ducting where required in order to maintain island lighting
  • Repair to paving, footpaths, islands and kerbing
  • Replacement of street furniture such as guardrails and fencing are also carried out as part of the works
