The main works involved the diversion of 2 no. 38Kva and 2 no. 10Kva overhead pylons, this included the diversion of other services to allow for the works
Key Elements
- Site investigate works to establish the line of the new underground diversion
- Installation of over 1.2km of ducting to facilitate the new diversion to ESB HV specification for both 38kV and 10kV cables
- Liaising with ESBi to carry out the works and working in the vicinity of HV cables
- Completing accommodation works for an adjacent landowner, including new fencing and hedging
- Identifying and protection of gas and watermains located along the route of the new diversion
- Installation of new security fencing and electronic access gates between the SDCC and DCC sections of the reservoir
- Design and Implementation of all temporary traffic management required for the works
