This project was undertaken to construction a new ribbon bridge at Kilbarrack Station to provide improved access for pedestrians.
Key Elements
- Construction of a new ribbon bridge structure one of the first in Ireland
- Winner of the Construction Excellence Awards
- Bridge cast insitu, with ramps constructed in final location and bridge deck cast on site and then lifted into place
- All temporary works designed and implemented using our own in house resources
- All works carried out adjacent to a live railway and over the live railway, which required close liaising with Iarnrod Eireann
