This scheme was undertaken to improve the pedestrian and cyclist facilities to provide access to a new school
Key Elements
- Installation of a new signalised junction and installation of new signal poles, heads and controllers
- Liaising with the Local Authority (SDCC) to obtain the road opening and traffic management licence
- Installation of high fricition surfacing on all approach roads
- Realignment of kerbing on all approaches to the junction
- Reinstatement of the footpath and grass verge on completion of the ducting installation
