Construction and installation of 134 new traffic counters and the upgrading of 142 existing traffic counters on National Roads throughout the country.
Key Elements
- Provision of new counters, including power and communication facilities to transmit the collected data to a central server
- Establishment of a server and development of a data collection and management system to display the information such as AADT on a web interface
- Construction of parking bays, footpaths, plinths and safety barrier to allow safe access to all counters
- Design and implementation of traffic management on all road levels, traffic volumes and speed zones
