We prioritise the Health and Safety of each individual, whether this is an employee or a member of the general public. This is reflected in our company’s low level of incidents.
Our Company Policy enforces health & safety as a priority;
Safety is a core and fundamental management responsibility but also promoted as a responsibility for all. ‘Don’t walk by’ is the motto for all of our employees. We promote an atmosphere where all concerns regarding the safety, health and welfare of our employees are listened to and addressed where necessary.
Our Procedures to Manage safety are:
- We have established a robust, ISO certified, Health and Safety Management System which is continuously reviewed for improvement
- Implement site specific health and safety plans for all projects. These are supported by site inductions, tool box talks, RAMS, safe systems of work, and permits for higher risk activities
- Regular site inspections carried out by the HSEQ Team and our management team, to ensure compliance with our processes. These are supported by internal audits by our trained auditors
- Training is a key cornerstone of our health and safety management systems, with our staff highly trained in health and safety management
Evidence of our success:
- Our integrated Health, Safety and Environmental Management System is certified to ISO45001 and ISO14001 and regularly audited by external auditors
- The System is also certified by Safe-T-Cert, gaining an A grading in 2014 and maintaining it since that time
- Long standing members of the National Irish Safety Organisation, winning a Best New Entrant Award in 2021 and maintaining a Distinction Award annually
- Our Health and Safety Team including our MD are graduate members of IOSH
