Realignment of 350m of road including tie-ins to live carriageway, diversions of services, deep drainage and rock excavation.
Key Elements
- Design and implementation of pedestrian and traffic management during construction
- Construction of over 200m of a new single carriageway access road including a new roundabout at the tie in to the existing carriageway
- Construction of all associated cycle tracks and footpaths to SDCC standards
- Completion of all earthworks, drainage and service installation for the works including public lighting, esb connection, communication, gas and watermain
- Testing and commissioning of all service connections to Utility Provider standards ie Irish Water (watermain), ESB, Bord Gais and Eir
- Installation of new public lighting network
- Installing new road signs and markings
