Works were undertaken to divert all existing services and install new services to allow for urban regeneration works.
Key Elements
- Extensive traffic management to faciltiate the new service installation and connections along Donore Avenue, including shuttle systems and footpath closures
- Liaising with DCC Roadworks Control to obtain relevant T2 and Road Opening Licences
- Installation of new ductingand associated chambers for the ESB and Virgin Media
- Liaising with ESB and Virgin Media to agree the route of new services as well as the programme for connection
- Removal of redundant pipes and chambers for service providers
- Installation of new foul sewer and surface water drainage lines in consultation with Dublin City Council Drianage Division
- Installation of new public lighting
- Installation of new gas main and removal of redundant main, this included liaising with Bord Gais to agree routes and programming
