Construction of a 2nd merge lane on the M9 to facilitate merging onto the M7 Northbound.
Key Elements
- Design and implementation of all traffic management to maintain the 70,000AADT on the two motorways
- New construction of the carriageway including full pavement construction of all layers
- Alterations to and removal of existing drainage, maintaining existing outfalls and installation of a new filter drain
- Alterations to the existing road lining and road studs to facilitate the new merge lane
- Landscaping on completion of works
