Walls

Construction of a new stone masonry wall with steel railings and gates, 800m in length.

This scheme was undertaken to upgrade the existing siganlised junctions along this section and construct new cycletracks and footpaths in the area.

Removal of the existing Leopardstown Roundabout and replacement with a signalised junction. The project also included the construction of a new link road to provide access to South County Business Park and Leopardstown Racecourse.

Construction of a 200m section of single carriageway including a new roundabout and upgrades to two existing roundabouts.

Construction of reinforced concrete retaining wall to act as a flood barrier for Woodview Cottages.

Design and construction of new flood wall and associated bank stabilisation and removal of collapsed sections of existing flood wall from the bank and river bed.

Refurbishment of the existing stone masonry retaining wall structure along the bank of the River Rye at the entrance to Leixlip Castle.

Construction of 1.8km of new dual carriageway and the upgrading of 1.3km of existing single carriageway to include new bus lanes, cycleways and footpaths including existing Junction upgrades.

Upgrade of 14km of dual carriageway to 3 lane carriageway, the construction of 16km of local roads, 4 No. new grade separated interchanges and upgrade works to 2 other interchanges.

Construction of 4.5km of new dual carriageway and the upgrading of 2.5km of single carriageway to dual carriageway.
